Nathan “N8” Renaud (aka Nate Reno) is a Canadian-born Musician residing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with 15+ years of playing experience in active touring and recording bands. He has been recording music since the 90’s, but professionally since 2004. He ventured into producing albums in 2010, and has over 40+ titles to his credit, many charting significantly on local and national charts. In 2008, Nate joined the crew of Noctis (http://notcisvalkryies.com), Calgary’s biggest underground metal festival of all time, as Stage and Production Manager until its final production in 2013. The pursuit of freelance live sound was realized in 2011 and he again finds himself behind the scenes with National and International Acts of all genres as Head Audio Engineer at Dickens Pub in Calgary. Nate founded Calgary Metalfest in 2012, which sold out in 2013 and has since become an annual event. Nate was then offered to be the Alberta, and subsequently Prairie Representative for Wacken Metal Battle Canada, a National Metal Battle; the winner of which goes on to play at Wacken Open Air in Germany, the World’s Largest Metal Festival. Nate also recently started doing Artist Representation for select bands, making Big Nate Productions a multi-skilled tool in this new, DIY incarnation of the Music Business.

In turn, Big Nate Productions has become an all encompassing music company ran from the outside in. Through proven experience and skill, BNP is the missing link between the common musician and a chance at success. From recording and live production to local shows, tour and artist representation, the advantage is passed onto the band by this concentration of knowledge. BNP comes at the music business as a musician, representing the Musician to the Business.
